In conjunction with SpringCAD(TM) most spring types can be generated completely as a full SolidWorks (TM) Part type.
Pre-drawn spring Parts are reconfigured in real-time to the dimensions of your SpringCAD(TM) design. Furthermore, modifications can be quickly input from SpringCAD(TM) and quickly shown as a rebuilt Part in SolidWorks(TM).
To use this enhanced feature of SpringCAD(TM) merely:
1) Download the pre-drawn SolidWorks(TM) springs.
2) Beam Springs are free to use. When the design is complete go to SpringCAD's "Options" menu and select "Make/Update SolidWorks(TM) Part". That's all. SolidWorks(TM) will be automatically launched, the predefined Beam spring opened and changed to your new dimensions. To operate on the other spring types you must purchase the featue, either via e-mail or by calling Bare Hill Software.
3) Adjust any dimensions via SpringCAD(TM), or directly within the new Part. Save the file within SolidWorks(TM) with the name of your choice.
